Getting Started with EventBuoy
Steps to Download and Install the App to engage attendees, sponsors, speakers and event stakeholders.
Step-by-step Guide to Download and Install:
Locate the App
For Android Users: Open Google Play Store and search for "Event Name"
For iOS Users: Navigate to the Apple App Store and input "Event Name" in the search bar.
Download
Once you spot the 'Event Name' app, tap on the "Download" or "Install" button. Ensure you have a stable internet connection for a seamless download experience.
Installation
After downloading, the app will automatically start the installation process. Grant any necessary permissions if prompted.
Open the App
Once installed, locate the Event Name icon on your device's home screen or app drawer and tap to launch.
Creating an Account/Signing Up
We're here to put a dent in the universe. Otherwise, why else even be here?
  1. Launch the App: Start by opening the EventBuoy ME2N application.
  2. Navigate to Sign Up: On the app's welcome screen, you'll see two options: "Login" and "Sign Up". Tap on "Sign Up" to initiate the registration process.
  3. Fill in Details: The app will prompt you to provide essential details like your full name, email address, and desired password. Ensure that the information you input is accurate and current.
  4. Verification: After filling in the details, you might receive a verification email or SMS with a code. Input this code in the app to verify your contact details.
  5. Profile Setup: You may be asked to add more profile details such as a profile picture, company name, or designation. This step might be optional but can enhance your app experience.
  6. Completion: Once all steps are complete, your account will be set up, and you'll be directed to the app's main dashboard.
Basic App Navigation
Navigating the Seas of Event Management Simplified
  1. Dashboard: As the main hub, the dashboard will provide a snapshot of ongoing, upcoming, and past events. It's the starting point for most of your interactions.
  2. Menu Bar/Navigation Drawer: Usually located at the top left or bottom of your screen, this is your primary tool for moving between different sections of the app, such as events, profile settings, notifications, and more.
  3. Event Search: A dedicated search bar or magnifying glass icon will allow you to quickly locate specific events, speakers, or sessions.
  4. Notifications: An essential feature, the notification bell or icon will inform you of any updates, reminders, or changes related to events.
  5. Profile & Settings: Here, you can adjust account details, manage preferences, set notification settings, and explore other customization options.
  6. Help & Support: Usually represented by a question mark or "Help" text, this section offers guidance, frequently asked questions, and customer support contact details.
